  After a great deal of research I decided to buy the Portage and main BL 3444 shaker from the good folks at heat smart plus. If there was any downside at all its that the stove did take a little while to get built and down to me. That aside I am extremely pleased with the stove. I'm amazed at how efficient it burns. Brian told me to make sure I didn't put too much wood in it and it would be a bit of a learning curve so I put a few decent sized cottonwood logs in the first night and then the next morning I thought for sure that it would be dead cold out. Not only was it still going, but there was probably still about 75% of what I put in there still there!
  After the sale service has been extremely good as well, quite possible the best I've ever received! I called Brian several times to get advice on how to set things up and he was always more than happy to help. Furthermore, he has also called a couple of times to follow up on those conversations and make sure things are going well!
  I highly recommend Brian and the team and Heat smart plus and Portage and main outdoor wood furnaces!
